I hope that you enjoy what you see here. I have a variety of works that I have produced over the years, and am in the process of revamping my site. I appreciate your patience with the process. Please come back and check out the progress as I go through this. 

A bit about me:

I lived in California most of my life, and actually am an immigrant myself.  I have been doing art for what seems like forever, long before I had a husband, and children. I have tried my best to keep the art going, inspite of the demands of family, and all that comes with that. Teaching drawing, and painting, for nearly 30 years, helped keep me working in my field, and gave me incentive to keep up with perfecting my craft. I am not sure perfection is ever possible, but, there is definately growth happening.

After the last of the kids moved out, I decided with all the life changes on the horizon, it was time to focus more on my work, and less on the teaching I had been doing. With all the moves that happend after my husband's retirement, (two retirements in two years, followed by a 10 month stay and wandering in our RV) it seemed like the powers that be, just wanted me to work on ME, and that is exactly what I have been doing, in many ways. 

The current "end result" has me living in Lake St Louis Missouri, where I find myself excited about the completely new landscape to explore. The last dozen years or more, have me painting mostly plein air, so I have a LOT of smaller works from that study. You can go see those works here. You will find some works from each place we wandered. Between winters out west, and the rest of the year in the midwest, there is plenty to keep me inspired.

Being an artist is an ever evolving process, so if you look around my site, you'll see a variety of subjects and styles. It seems I like variety, so, you will find that reflected here, for now.  I am now in the process of paring things down, trying to decide what to leave on, and what to let go of.  It is a difficult process. For now, you can wander around, and see things, from aviation art, still life, portrait and figure, and animals, as well as all the plein air I mentioned already. That category seems to be the one that grows the most. I LOVE being outside, on location, capturing that moment in time that I have the opportunity to experience.

As I have said, this artist thing is an ever evolving process, trying to find the balance between the artist, the business person, and the family life.
