"Winning Reno Painting" 18x24 Acrylic on illustration board Artist Collection NFS Posters are still available through Reno Air Races. This art work was chosen to be the poster for the 1987 Reno Air Races. I believe the still use it for the tickets. I wanted to capture the excitement of the races and believe I have done that with the odd angle of the Pylon and the ground attitude. I chose the Dreadnaught (Sea fury) and Dego Red P-51because they were based at our home airport in Chino at the time. The yellow P-51 represented the Bob Hoover flying above to start the race.
