"Still Life in Blue"

This still life was inspired by a session with my students. We all brought our favorite items and made several still life arrangements around the room. We sketched and photographed the results.  I am fond of blue and the contrast of the copper pot against the dark blue was appealing to me. The lace doily added texture and a feminine quality. Tea, strawberries and a nice book, a nice way to spend an evening.
