"Oma's Kitchen Window"

18x24 on 140lb rough arches

Collection Robert Streett

This painting has a special meaning to me. My mother had a beautiful home with many acres, on top of a hill. In the spring she always had cuttings from the fruit trees blooming in a vase on her kitchen counter. The light flowing through the window framed with lace made wonderful patterns on the bright white tile and wall. The view outside was of grazing cattle and hills of velvet green. This painting tells a lot about my mom. She she appreciated the beauty and elegance of simplicity. Her home was always impeccable. My friend Barbara loved this painting so much and asked to purchase it. Her husband Bob now owns it..Look for Barbara in my pastel portraits so you can see her story.

I love you and miss you mom. Forever G1
