10x14 Watercolor on 140 lb arches Artist Collection A painting often brings back a memory, or a time that has past. This painting does that for me. It has an emotional tone for me. The painting was inspired by a photograph that was taken on an outing with my parents. They took us to a place near their home where there was a small lake, or more like a pond. The boys fished with Grandpa, and my mom and I sat and laughed at their hi-jinks. Two young boys and a sometimes cranky grandpa brought some interesting happenings. Mom and I had a great time visiting on the bank of the lake. The woman walking down the road is Mom....I Miss you Mom! Rest in peace.  |
